This is Jeff Pelliccio with Allied Insight and hold on just a second. Much better. Today I want to talk to you about Leveraging the Pandemic Experience. As always, if you find this information helpful and think of others in your network would benefit from it, don’t forget to Like, Share, and Follow. Also if there’s a topic that you’d like to see us cover, just leave a comment below and we’ll do our best to include it in a future episode.

So what do I mean by leveraging the pandemic…I mean, outside of an opportunity for good dad joke. What I’m talking about is, for the last 12- to 18-months, we’ve been doing nothing but facilitating our meetings using video conferencing tools. Now is a great opportunity to lean into a video campaign.

So many times in the past when I would talk to teams, they would be very apprehensive to wanting to participate in video. Being really uncomfortable on camera, not very comfortable with being able to do messaging well. Now they are! They’re doing this daily. And so my recommendation? Lean in.

First, consider your audience. Consider your candidates, your hiring managers, and even your active contractors. What is it that they need of value and communication from you to help them along their journey? Next, get back to the core of who you are, develop your unique value proposition and how that plays into the value that you’re bringing this audience. After that, identify your talent. You’re running these meetings on a weekly basis. You can see exactly who is engaged, who’s really good on camera, who’s willing to speak, and who’s comfortable. Cherry pick. Pick out your best people and let’s go!

Last, make sure that you do a little bit of investigation into the technology that you need. It really doesn’t take much, I’m going to be honest. In terms of getting a really good camera, and some microphone equipment, I mean, even a green screen as I’m using, it doesn’t cost a lot of money, but it really does set the stage for you to be able to put together a strong presentation.

If your staffing agency is working on video as a component of your campaigns, and you’d like some assistance or even to just bounce some ideas off of us, go to our website AlliedInsight.com, reach out to us. We’d love to chat with you and give any assistance that we can.
